We ensure compliance with UK Government regulations implementing the Gambling Act 2005. The Gambling Act 2005 prohibits businesses from processing restricted transactions. A restricted transaction involves knowingly accepting a transmittal of any credit, funds, instrument, or proceeds in connection with the participation of another person in unlawful internet gambling. In the event that CWEP receives knowledge that a customer is engaged in illegal internet gambling, CWEP will close the customer’s account and cancel all orders and transactions.
